I stood there holding the gun close to my chest with my quivering hands, walking with wobbly feet in the rain, scared yet aware of his presence, silent yet alarming. "Looking for me, wife?" I heard his voice and turned around to find him with blood trickling down his forehead and neck and disappearing into his chest, hair drenched in rainwater ,looking as feral as ever. I pointed the gun at him, at Advik Agnihotri, my love, my husband, my venator, at his arm to be precise, only for him to hold the nozzle and press it into his chest. "You haven't done anything to him. Have you?" My words faltered, my voice almost inaudible, fear gripping my senses. A haunting silence lingered between us. Did he kill him? Did he end everything? Is anything left except fragments of us? "Shoot, Rose," he said before capturing my lips in a ferocious kiss.
"I am not gonna do your never ending work",I said tossing the files in air and letting the papers inside them fall around us. "Well, then do me," he said, stretching his chest to its expanse sitting down on the couch across the room and folded his leg against his knee, a casual smile playing on his lips while my insides burned with fury as I barely controlled the urge to throttle him. "I'm not doing anything you say," I said in a somewhat respectful tone, got up from my chair and walked to him, probably trying to intimidate him, but my efforts to do so only humored him further. A very smug and exasperating Rishit Raina sat in front of me, uncrossing his legs as he looked at me with a rather amused look. I knew he was reminding me of the contract. Fucking contract. A heavy pause lingered between us only that it didn't even bother him while it turned my world upside down. "I'm not a whore, "I said letting out a breath , and turned away only to be pulled back by him and fall onto his lap. Wrapping his palm around my neck, he pushed my head behind and said, "Don't you dare call yourself that again, ever, moya lyubov'. Do you understand?" A moan escaped my mouth as his lips moved towards my shoulders.
